The Billiard Room

I remember the first time I walked into the room after we installed the wallpaper—I just stood there for a minute, taking it in. The cork has these little flecks of gold that catch the light in a way that’s subtle but really beautiful. It’s got this moody vibe, which we wanted, but the gold adds just enough warmth and a hint of glam. It’s one of those details you don’t fully appreciate until you’re in the room.

The idea for this space was to channel that classic gentleman’s club feel but make it a little more playful. The clients love blue, so bringing in those deep blue tones on the paneling and cabinetry felt like a natural choice. It’s rich without feeling stuffy, and paired with the cork walls, it has this cozy, inviting feel.

Even though it’s a billiard room, it’s more than just a spot to play pool. I can picture people hanging out in here—maybe there’s a game going, someone’s pouring a drink, and the photography collection on the walls becomes a conversation starter. That’s what I like about this space—it encourages people to gather, relax, and just enjoy being together. It’s not overly formal, but it still feels special.
